We've Moved!

Hi everyone, I'm super excited to be a Guest Designer today for Lisa Norris of Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.

Back in May Lisa made this super cute Moving Truck file and gave it away as one of her Friday Freebies. She has so many great files to choose from. We just moved yesterday.. (glad that part is over) and I can't wait to set up my new craft room and start playing again.

But before I packed up my current craft space I thought it would be fun to let people know that we were moving. So I used this file and made a shaped card. I added some yellow Stickles on the lights and gave the tires some dimension with some pop dots.

On the inside I cut a second layer in white and added all our new info to it.

I love how this turned out and can't wait to play with more of Lisa's files. Make sure to head on over to the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Blog and don't forget to get your Friday Freebie. Also, check out the Pretty Cute Stamps Blog for some great stamps to match your files.

Happy Easter!

Hope everyone's Easter was filled with family, friends, new memories and of course chocolate :) As a child I remember waking up on Easter morning and following the bunny prints around the house searching for clues to the next hidden treasure that the Easter bunny had brought.  It was so much fun! I still like to hide treats around the house.

So today I wanted to share with you a few treats that I made for Easter.

The first picture are some pb cups using one of my favorite kind of stamps from Jaded Blossom, Candy Stamps!

These are from the Easter candies set and colored with Copics. I added these to another treat that I made but didn't get a picture of. Oops!

I was at Michaels the other day and they had a really, really, really good sale on paper crafting items, so I just had a get myself the Fiskars  Corrigated Paper Crimper heeheee :)

So these are the first sour cream treat containers that I've made with my new crimper. I filled them with Jolly Rancher Jellybeans and Easter M&M's.

I am pleased with the way they turned out and boy are they fast to make :)

Then I made some Peeps on a stick, found this idea somewhere on Pinterest. I used short bamboo skewers and added 3 Peeps, placed them in a bag and tied a tag on with ribbon.

The sentiment on my tag says " For A Special PEEP" I got this stamp in the $1.50 bin at Michaels and stamped it in Brilliance Lime ink to give it that sparkle like the sugar on the peeps.

I stuck them into a 3D Fence Basket #40671 that I got in the Silhouette Online store and then added the bunny painting eggs from the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Hoppy Easter Cutting file.

Have a great day and don't eat too much chocolate!

Baby Shower Favors

Warning: This post is picture heavy but really adorable.

So today I'm going to share the favors that my friend's sister Katherine and I made for the baby shower.

Katherine made these adorable diaper favors and filled them with yummy candies.

I went to Michaels and purchased some baby bottles and ribbon. I picked up a bunch of Hershey Kisses and used several Jaded Blossom Candy Stamps, as well as a Hero Arts stamp for the bottom of each kiss. I then added some gift basket shred in blue and popped in the kisses.

I made the tag with the print and cut feature on my Cameo.

For the first kiss I used Brilliance Coffee Bean Ink and the little hedgehog on the Hero Arts Precious Baby Boy stamp set.

All the rest of the kisses I used Jaded Blossom Candy stamps.

For this one I used the Mustache Candies set, also stamped in Coffee Bean.

Here I used the Valentine Candies set with Brilliance Pearlescent Thyme ink.

The next set I used was the Baby Candies stamped in Brilliance Pearlescent Thyme and Sky Blue.

The last set I used and this is my favorite of all the kisses I made is from the Kawaii Candies set stamped in Coffee Bean.

LOL... I love this little poop :)

As with any shower we played a bunch of fun games but the game I loved the most was this:

I used Google to find some games and saw this one and I just had to include it in all the fun! I made the sign and the poop ballot using my computer and printer and then stamped the little poop all over!

Then came the fun part making the poop combos and letting everyone try to guess which chocolate bars I used to make them. LOL this was so funny I couldn't stop laughing, this is a must play game for a shower.

One of the other games we played was What's in your purse? I used the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Safari Love Cutting files and printed out a header for this game.

What a great time everyone had at the shower. It took a while to make everything but I had so much fun creating everything and using all the different files and stamps and of course did I mention that I LOVE my Cameo :)

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! Well how time flies over the holiday season...

I had so many posts I wanted to make but never found the time to sit down and get it done. I know that the holidays are over but I just wanted to show off the rest of the favors that I made for my series.

Warning : this post is picture heavy.

I used the Jaded Blossom 1x8" bags and filled each with various different candies... yummm.

I used the Jaded Blossom Love Mustaches stamp set for the sentiment and the mustache is from a Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons cut file called Old Chap.

For this ornament tag I used two different files from the Silhouette Online store.  I love glitter so I couldn't resist using Sookwang tape and Micro Fine Glitter for the heart filigree.
.

I used the print and cut feature for the sentiment on the reverse.

For the stocking I used a Miss Kate Cuttables SVG.

The penguin is made from a picture from the internet that I found and pretty much copied and made into an SVG, cut out using the Cameo and the DE software. The iceberg was done the same way.

There is a version of a Penguin Poop poem on the back.

I just love this elf! He is a print and cut from PPPR Santa's Helpers. I added some gold rhinestones  and a mini jingle bell to the hat. The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Merry and Bright stamp set.

This is one of my favorites. It is from the Miss Kate's Cuttables store. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the branches and a mini red jingle bell from the dollar store.

The sentiment on the back is just a print and cut.

Well I have a few more favors to show but I'm going to show them in the next post. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :)

Make sure to check out these great sites for some super fun files and stamps.

Back To My New Toy!

I'm so excited to finally get some crafting done this week. Lots has happened over the summer and there are some great photos just waiting to be made into layouts.

I had an amazing vacation in the sunny Okanagan that begged for another month.. lol. I just reorganized my craft area too. I picked up this 4 sided rotating pegboard on Used Victoria....LOVE IT! It has become my new embellishment center and I can see everything.. brads, rhinestones, Stickles, Liquid Pearls. I could use another one though... Heeheee.

And finally as all the kids are going back to school (not that I have any yet!), and I've started a new job. I hope everyone had a great summer too!

Now back to my new toy, I finally got to play with the Print and cut feature. Did I happen to mention how much in LOVE I am with my Cameo?!

I made a Back 2 School treat for a special little back-to-schooler. I used the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Clipboard and Cool Sun cutting files to make a tag about 3 3/8" tall. Then I added some blue text, shrank them down and ran it through the printer, finally sending it to the Cameo to cut.

I filled a star treat bag with a box of Crayons, crayon shaped erasers, a soccer ball bookmark and a granola bar. Made a bow with some star ribbon and finished it with a blue star button.

I will be entering this into the PPPR Back to School Challenge. Make sure to head on over to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store and check out all the fabulous designs. There is even a Freebie every Friday!
