Grinch Poop

Hi everyone! Well the last two weeks have been super busy and I have been crafting up a storm between working and sleeping.. lol. In a previous post I told you that I bought a bunch of the Jaded Blossom 1x8 bags for candy and I thought I would do a mini-series of candy tube favors.

So I will start with my favorite so far... the Grinch! I grew up watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas and still watch it every year! So if course I had to use the Grinch for one of the favors.

This is the print and cut version... not the best picture - it's from my camera
I used my Silhouette and welded two shapes together to make the base of the tag. Then used the print and cut feature with the Grinched font for the sentiment. For the Grinch I did him 2 different ways one version a print and cut and the other paper pieced together.

I filled the tubes with Grinch poop (aka green gumballs) and just love how they turned out.

I will post pictures of each of the fun yummy filled favors as the week goes on.

Happy crafting!

Here is the Grinch that I put together instead of the print and cut.

Santa Claus Card

Here is the Santa Claus card that I made for the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #45 Just Cards: Shape It Up!

You must make a shaped card to enter.

I used the A Quilted Christmas Cricut cartridge to make Santa Claus. You can't tell in the picture but I used Martha Stewart White Swan Flock and made his beard and all the white fur fuzzy. I also added a white pompom to his hat.

For his face I used the Peachy Keen Groom Faces and gave him some blue eyes and some pink cheeks.

HOHOHOHO! Only 20 more days til Christmas, I can't believe it.

Hop on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and check out all the amazing entries for this challenge.

Winter Wreath

Hello all. It has been a very long week for me, I've had a cold and there are so many things to do.

Today is the last day to enter this weeks challenge over at Peachy Keen, so I have just enough time to enter.

This weeks challenge is 3D Objects : Wall Art.

So here is my entry for Challenge #41.

I used a wreath, Noel and some glass snowflake ornaments that I purchased at Michaels last year but never got around to making anything with.

I used my Spellbinders Circle die to make 4 snowman heads then used my Peachy Keen Winter Faces Assortment for their cute little faces. I colored them in my Copics and attached seam binding to make little scarfs and some pompoms for earmuffs.

I cut 1 1/4" x 12" strips of Christmas paper and made rosettes then attached the snowmen to them and then the wreath.

Quick easy and cheap to make. Try making one of your own.

Remember to head on over to the Peachy Keen Blog and check out all the entries.

Wedding favors

I just wanted to share with you some Wedding favors that I did up for a friend who's getting married in March. I used my Tie the Knot Cricut cartridge and made these adorable Bride and Groom boxes.

I used the same color pink for the back of the dress and the tuxedo handkerchiefs as in the Invitations that I made earlier for the Wedding.

I put the front of the box through the Cuttlebug with the Floral Fantasy folder. I just love the way they turned out.

Then I added some pink and crystal bling along the top and some pink ribbon around the waist to close it.

For the tuxedo I kept the white shirt smooth and added 3 black brads down the front for buttons.

I did a total of 86, 43 of each. The dress is cut at 10" and the tux's at 9 1/2". She is planning to fill them with Hershey Kisses. I am so glad that she loves them, cause I do too.
