Christmas Ornament

PKS CHALLENGE #46: 3D Objects: Ornaments

Create and or decorate an ornament using Peachy Keen Stamps.

Here is the ornament that I made for this fun challenge.

I used Recollections Cardstock to make a rosette for the base of this ornament. Then I stamped the PK M17 Snow Much Love and colored it in with some of my Copics, a Sakura Clear Star pen, 3 mini brads for buttons and cut it out with a circle die.

Finally some American Crafts Sweet heart ribbon to hang it. Super cute, easy and fast to make. Try making one of your own! Head on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and get some great inspiration for your holiday season :)

Winter Song

Last Thursday night was the November Release Party over at Stamp TV, if you missed it you can watch the party presentation here.

Along with the video presentation, there are 2 contest questions and a release party challenge, all with great prizes to be won.

The release party challenge is a color challenge Red, White and Green. You can make a card, scrapbook page or 3D project then upload it to the Stamp TV gallery with the tag RWGNOV12.

The winner of this challenge is going to be one lucky crafter with a mystery box filled with over $70 worth of paper crafting products...yippee!

So here is the card that I made for this great challenge.

The dp is Recollections Bright and Jolly Paper pad, along with some of their cardstock for the base of the card.

The image is Winter Song and the sentiment is Chill of Winter both Elzybells Art Stamps. I stamped and colored her with Copics then cut her out with the Spellbinders Classic Square Die and  Classic Inverted Scalloped Square Die.

I added a few green buttons, some Celebrations Noel ribbon from Michaels and used my Sakura Gelly Roll Pen in Clear Star for the snow.

The inside sentiment is from Pink By Designs' Snowflakes stamp set stamped in Memento Cottage Ivy ink.

The little song bird come from the Penny Black Cold Nose Warm Heart stamp set and is colored with a Copic.

So head on over to Stamp TV and check out all the great new stamp sets and the fun going on with the November release party.

Good luck!
