Christmas Hand Sanitizer Holders

Hello everybody, hope everyone had a great New Years Eve and beginning to the new year.

Just wanted to share a few more Christmas projects over the next few days that have finally arrived at their destination.

I just love this Hand Sanitizer Holder by Lori Whitlock the combinations are endless.

For the first one I used Miss Kate's Ho Ho Ho file from the Silhouette online store. The ribbon and paper are from my stash and I added Wink of Stella around the black and on Santa's sack.

For this one I used the Echo Park Ornament also purchased at the Silhouette store. It's hard to tell but I used double sided tape and Glitter Ritz in white to match my paper.

Have a great day and keep crafting!

Halloween Fang You Card SEPT12WD

Over at Stamp TV Gina K just had her September Stamp Release and along with that a challenge.

She's challenging us to use the woodgraining  Technique.  She has posted several videos on how to use this technique and you can find them here.

So with that in mind here is my card for the September Stamp Release Challenge SEPT12WD.

I used my Martha Stewart Score Board and scored every 1/2 inch, then used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo and a lighter brown ink from my stash and applied the ink directly to the cardstock.

I cut the Poppystamps Grand Madison Window die and the Grand Flower Box die with my Cuttlebug, then adhered a piece of yellow cardstock to the back of the window.

I used two Martha Stewart stamp sets and  stamped the inside images in black and the pumpkins in orange,

I gave the pumpkins and the flower box some dimension by adding a few popdots.

The outside sentiment if from Pink By Designs' A Haunting We Will Go stamp set.

The inside sentiment is from Pink By Design's Ghostly Greetings.

The black cat is a Martha Stewart doubled sided sticker which I coated with Glitter Ritz Glitter.

Get your sparkle on... PbD05

This week's Ink It Pink Challenge is all about SPARKLE

You can use whatever form of sparkle or bling that you choose.... metallic paper, Viva Decor, rhinestones, glitter and the list goes on.

I chose to use Glitter Ritz, my favorite glitter as my sparkle.

I started by stamping , Pink By Design's Cloudy Day Background stamp in Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue ink.

I then cut out some clouds in different sizes in white and dark blue, using the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge. I then stamped my sentiment with Pink By Design's Simply Everything.

I pulled out my Martha Stewart Balloon punch and punched a bunch of balloons out of Sookwang Be Creative Tape.

Then punched out matching cardstock to the color of glitter that I chose to use and stuck the tape to the cardstock.

I pulled off the paper backing and glittered away using several different colors of Glitter Ritz and let me tell you...I got glitter everywhere....even on my face.. lol.

Here is a close-up picture of the balloons... I used small punches for the heart and star and attached them Glossy Accents.

I added  some Pink By Design Divine Twine in Black Licorice to tie the balloons together.

For the inside of the card I used the clouds that I cut out earlier and used the Pink By Design October's Stamp of the Month - Friends to the End in Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid.

You should head over to Pink By Design's Blog and take a look at what everyone has been up to. Hope your day is full of sparkle and bling.

To be eligible for the monthly prize or weekly badges, you must use the fabulous stamps from Pink by Design.  Remember, instead of weekly prizes, they will draw one winner out of all the July entries.  Play each week with Pink by Design stamps, and you'll get  more chances to win!

A Peek at some of my Craft Storage

Here is a little peek into my craft storage.

For a while I took over all the space downstairs in the kitchen, on the  dining table, anywhere there was a surface, to do my crafting. Then one day I decided I was taking over half my bedroom and setting up a craft area.

I went to Nanaimo ReStore (this store helps generate funds to support Habitat for Humanity's building program) and started looking. I picked up 2- 1 1/2' x 8' long tables and a folding table for $38.... what a great deal. If you live in the area, you should check it out.

So I set up the tables and started putting up all my storage. Everything has a place and is categorized.

I got this Space Saver Over the toilet Storage Shelf at Walmart for $20, it was the display model. It worked out perfectly!!!

The bottom part was turned into my Ribbon rack. Some lids from empty embossing powders, some screws and pieces of dowel to make it. Of course, I have it separated by color, and when I need more room I can just turn it around and add more.

The top part I turned into my embellishment centre. At the top I took pieces of Velcro and stuck them to the bottom side of my Stickles bottles and hung them from the top. I also hung my Glossy Accents the same way. Under the Stickles are my Martha Stewart Microbeads.

As you can see in the picture above, for the second shelf I took pieces of a cereal box and made shelves to fit across. Then added my Martha Stewart and Stampendous Flocking Powders and my Pearl Ex Powdered Pigments.

The third shelf I took some Styrofoam I had lying around and made some tiers. I placed all my Glitter Ritz and various other glitters on this shelf.

The bottom shelf holds my Google eyes, Buttons and Brads and other various items.

I bought 6 and 8 compartment dividing containers and found some candle holders that I paid 50 cents for at JYSK. I took the top off the candle holder and slid them on, now I can just turn them and see what's in each.

Beside that is my Cricut Expression and all my Cartridges. I paid $10 for the shelf at a local Thrift shop. It was meant to be, they fit perfectly too!!!

I took an old computer desk on wheels and now it is my cut centre. I can move it to wherever I want it to be. On top, I have my paper trimmer, my Martha Stewart Self Healing Mat and an old mouse pad that I use for stamping. The pull out part holds my Martha Stewart paper trimmer, score board and another mini paper trimmer.

Underneath, in the cubby of the desk are my binders of embellishments and precut Cricut Paperdoll parts.

I took Hockey card holders and stuck all my embellishments (most of which are all from Michaels) and found a zip up binder to store them in.

I will give you a another look soon at some more of my craft storage solutions.

Til then happy crafting!!!
