Winter Song

Last Thursday night was the November Release Party over at Stamp TV, if you missed it you can watch the party presentation here.

Along with the video presentation, there are 2 contest questions and a release party challenge, all with great prizes to be won.

The release party challenge is a color challenge Red, White and Green. You can make a card, scrapbook page or 3D project then upload it to the Stamp TV gallery with the tag RWGNOV12.

The winner of this challenge is going to be one lucky crafter with a mystery box filled with over $70 worth of paper crafting products...yippee!

So here is the card that I made for this great challenge.

The dp is Recollections Bright and Jolly Paper pad, along with some of their cardstock for the base of the card.

The image is Winter Song and the sentiment is Chill of Winter both Elzybells Art Stamps. I stamped and colored her with Copics then cut her out with the Spellbinders Classic Square Die and  Classic Inverted Scalloped Square Die.

I added a few green buttons, some Celebrations Noel ribbon from Michaels and used my Sakura Gelly Roll Pen in Clear Star for the snow.

The inside sentiment is from Pink By Designs' Snowflakes stamp set stamped in Memento Cottage Ivy ink.

The little song bird come from the Penny Black Cold Nose Warm Heart stamp set and is colored with a Copic.

So head on over to Stamp TV and check out all the great new stamp sets and the fun going on with the November release party.

Good luck!

Sticking Together

This is the card that I made for the Peachy Keen Connection November Release Challenge #2.

The talented Raven Baca is the host to this challenge and her challenge to us is to make anything that we like but it must include snow and/or snowflakes and the Peachy Keen stamp of your choice to win the amazing prize.

I used Snow White cardstock for the base and Recollections Bright and Jolly paper pad for the patterned paper. I stamped PK- M17 Snow Much Love in Broken China and colored in the hearts and part of the hat with a Copic.

The sentiment comes form Pink By Design's Snowflakes stamp set, stamped in Tim Holtz Broken China. I added some American Crafts Ribbon and some tiny teal rhinestones for the buttons as well as some larger ones.

The inside sentiment is from Pink By Design's Winter Fun.

Head on over to Peachy Keen Stamps and check out all the great new stamps from the November release then head on over to the Peachy Keen Connection and enter into the 2 challenges going on.

Swinging By To Say Hi!!!

Here is a fun little card that I made the other day for the Fun Friday Anything Goes Challenge over at Little Scrap Pieces.

It's an Easel card, I love making these types of cards, they are so much fun to display.

I  really like this fun banana paper  made by Reminisce called Goin' Bananas and Crazy Monkey Stripe from the Monkey Business collection.

I used the Create A Critter cartridge, Bazzill paper and some googly eyes to make this cute little monkey. I cut out the vines and ran them through my Cuttlebug with the Indentz Vine 1 folder then placed one on top and one underneath him to make him swing.

Both the sentiments come from Pink By Design's Jungle Fever stamp set, which I embossed in black. I used my Spellbinders Grommet Tag die to cut out the front sentiment and attached it using brads.

Isn't the banana so cute? I used The Cornies Assortment from Peachy Keen for his cute little face.... heeeheee.

Head on over and check out all the great entries for the Fun Friday Anything Goes Challenge... you still have time to enter yourself.

Gobble Gobble!

Every Christmas and Thanksgiving I make Cranberry sauce with a few additions.

My one girlfriend loves when I bring it to work with me, so this year I made her some.

I placed the sauce in a jar, added some green tissue paper for a ruffle and used my Spellbinders Standard Circle die to cut out some fall paper for the lid.

I used the Create A Critter cartridge to make this turkey tag. I gave him some googly eyes and attached him using Divine Twine in orange.

What a quick, easy and fun way to make a jar of cranberry sauce not so ordinary.
