Back in May Lisa made this super cute Moving Truck file and gave it away as one of her Friday Freebies. She has so many great files to choose from. We just moved yesterday.. (glad that part is over) and I can't wait to set up my new craft room and start playing again.
But before I packed Melindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16372690117092002179noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2604647329469294931.post-69482305154290948132015-06-21T17:34:00.000-07:002015-06-21T17:34:23.345-07:00Happy Father's Day!!!!
Hello everyone, hope all the men in your life are having a great Father's Day. Since my Dad lives in another province, I made him a card and sent it in the mail.
He loves eagles so I started by cutting out this Bald Eagle from the Silhouette store by Jennifer Wambach. I used the Houndstooth embossing folder for his outer wing and a popdot for dimension.
Then I added some tree tops from the Melindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16372690117092002179noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2604647329469294931.post-85079137164498241542015-02-20T14:38:00.000-08:002015-02-20T14:38:01.595-08:00Valentine Gumball Machine
A while back I bought the mini version of the red plastic cups and knew that they would come in handy. Then one day I saw a version of this on Pinterest and I just had to make my own for Valentine's day.
I had some leftover mini plastic bulbs from last Christmas, which worked perfect so I filled it with some heart candies. Then using the Jaded Blossom Gumball stamp I stamped and cut out what Melindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16372690117092002179noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2604647329469294931.post-85924179939577412082015-02-18T16:19:00.000-08:002015-02-18T16:19:35.901-08:00Will You Be Mine??????
Now that all my fun little Valentine's Day treats have been found I thought I would share them with you and enter them into the Jaded Blossom Valentine Treats February Challenge.
I started by cutting out a bunch of toppers with the Jaded Blossom Scallop Slider and Topper and Die then matched them with some patterned paper from Recollections.
For the first one I used this Melindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16372690117092002179noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2604647329469294931.post-32429766504745682452015-01-26T16:37:00.000-08:002015-01-26T16:37:31.390-08:00Playing with VinylOver the last week I had a few extra days off and took some time to play. I tried my hand at glass etching and then decided to play with some vinyl. This is the largest piece of vinyl that I have ever worked with, I made a few errors but they were easy to fix. I knew exactly which sentiment I wanted to cut out so I found a 16x20 glass frameless picture frame, fired up the Cameo and went to work.

There's a bit of a learning curve with this stuff but I think they turned out pretty good for my first time!
My friend loves butterflies and a good bottle of wine, so I bought some glasses and made a vinyl stencil with a butterfly that I found in the Silhouette online store.
I wanted the butterfly to be further down the glassMelindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16372690117092002179noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2604647329469294931.post-15903282440141257212015-01-13T14:09:00.001-08:002015-01-25T15:05:45.167-08:00On the Naughty List - A Bag Full of CoalOk this is the last Christmas post for this part of the year.
I saw this cute 3D Santa Bag in the Silhouette store by Jamie Cripps and knew what I wanted to do with it. I had picked up some chocolate coal the week before so when I saw it, I knew it was perfect.
I added some ribbon from my stash and the sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's V is for Villain.

I made these quick and easy gifts to go in the bag with the rest of a gift for a friend.
Since my friend likes to paint her toes all the time I used the Mistletoes Topper by Jamie Cripps found in the Silhouette store to make this package. I used the Jaded Blossom Scallop Slider and Topper die for my base then added Melindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16372690117092002179noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2604647329469294931.post-29663485201937753502015-01-05T13:21:00.001-08:002015-01-05T13:21:32.039-08:00Birthday Wishes!!
Here's a quick card that I made for a friends birthday recently.
I used the Jaded Blossom November freebie Bake Me Happy Stamp set for the mixer and my paper. As you can see I got a little carried away stamping the mini mixer for my paper..lol... I was having too much fun.
The sentiments are from the Jaded Blossom Baked With Love set.

Just wanted to share a few more Christmas projects over the next few days that have finally arrived at their destination.
I just love this Hand Sanitizer Holder by Lori Whitlock the combinations are endless.

I was so thrilled to find out that I was one of the lucky ladies chosen to be a guest designer for the day on the Jaded Blossom blog. A big THANK you to Michelle and Candace for the opportunity.
Since my day is after Christmas I chose to make my projects for New Years. I have a few friends that LOVE their cats, so I thought it would be cute to make a cat shaped box for a few of them.
Using the Cat Bag file from Studio Ilustrado and my Cameo I cut out the cat in different colors. Then using Silhouette Double- sided sheets adhered to cardstock I cut out all the pieces that Melindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16372690117092002179noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2604647329469294931.post-28630569024908321592014-12-14T13:41:00.000-08:002014-12-14T13:41:06.909-08:00All Day Baking For You!! Not!!Today I combined three of my favorite companies Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons, Jaded Blossom and Peachy Keen to make my entry in the Christmas Challenge over at Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.
I started by cutting out the Oval Window Treat Bag in some festive cardstock. It is easy to assemble and can be used for any number of different projects. We all had to bring a small homemade gift, so this is what I whipped up for the party.
I started by making some candy treats... I work at the hospital and had this super cute stamp by CC Designs called Nurse Lucy and knew I wanted to use it.
I started by stamping Lucy out and coloring her with my Copics. Melindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16372690117092002179noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2604647329469294931.post-60950011327072774712014-11-25T14:11:00.001-08:002014-11-25T14:34:02.869-08:00Fall Straws
Well I'm finally done rearranging my craft area, took awhile but was totally worth it. I'm very pleased with the way it looks now. Today I wanted to share the cute straws I made for the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Fall Challenge. I adore Lisa's cutting files, they are so fun to create with.
Last week I was in Target and found these Fall paper straws in the clearance and of course I brought Melindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16372690117092002179noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2604647329469294931.post-42794194930347536022014-11-08T17:23:00.000-08:002014-11-08T17:23:06.199-08:00Little MonstersFrom a month with no posts to 2 posts in one day.. lol but I just wanted to share the cute little tags I made for a special fun treat.
Almost a year ago a good friend gave birth to the most handsome twin boys. Well this year was their first Halloween, so I had to get them something. They got dressed up as these cute little blue monsters so I decided to make tags to match their little outfits.

Hi everyone! Well after working 2 jobs for the summer it's finally time to get back to crafting. So what better way to start than by making a birthday card.
A friend of mine recently celebrated her birthday and I had made a visit to my favorite Scrapbooking stores Crafty Capers in Nanaimo a few weeks earlier. I bought this Art Impressions stamp and a few other things that I really needed... It was so much fun! I still like to hide treats around the house.
So today I wanted to share with you a few treats Melindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16372690117092002179noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2604647329469294931.post-636495172261710792014-04-01T15:47:00.000-07:002014-04-01T15:47:30.549-07:00Baby Shower FavorsWarning: This post is picture heavy but really adorable.
